to the most common questions, do's and don'ts!
- The
application is fast, effective and easy. Allow 30 minutes start to
finish.
- Before
going to your tanning session, take a shower and exfoliate and shave if
necessary.
- Do
not wear body lotion, deodorant or foundation makeup to your tanning
session.
- Bring
a swimming suit or undergarments in which you would like to be tanned.
Thong underwear is acceptable, cotton is recommended.
- Bring
loose fitting clothes that are dark in color and sandals to wear after
your session to maximize results.
- Some
rub-off on your clothes may occur, but will wash out as the solution is
water based. The solution will not stain.
- After
your tan, wait at least 8 hours before showering.
- After
showering, apply moisturizer. Hydrated skin maintains your tan longer.
- Moontans
is not a dye. The active ingredient works with the amino acids in the
top layer of your skin to produce a natural tan exactly like the sun,
but without damaging your skin.
- Moontans
creates a golden-brown color and will tan the fairest skin without
looking orange.
- Moontans
fades gently, just like an authentic suntan.
Freckles
Don’t
try to hide your freckles. You may not appreciate
them, but they are part of you. Exposure to sunlight makes freckles
darker so
avoiding the sun and using a sunscreen will keep them in check. As you
get
older, they can fade —and then they won’t be an
issue.
Lips
If
you want luscious
lips, lip gloss will do the trick. If you want to add some color to
your lips
for a night time look, try a lipstick in a sheer color. For extra
shine, put
the lip gloss on over your lipstick. Always
have lip balm handy for chapped lips.
Cheeks
To
get subtle
sparkly cheeks, swipe a thin layer of shiny powdered pink eye shadow
over your
powder blush. (Don’t try this with gel/cream blush or it will
come out
streaky). Wash off your make up before going to bed otherwise the
panicles will
clog your skin-pores preventing the skin from inhaling fresh air.
Diet
Did you know that
your diet contributes greatly to the clarity
and condition of your skin? Its true.
Pay attention next time you eat an entire bar of choclate by yourself,
or take notice
of your skin’s tone and texture if you opt for a better diet
of
fresh fruits, vegetables,
salads, healthier foods, and
lots of water. Natural skin care at its
best.
